Description

Fight On! is an Old School fanzine for old D&D-style roleplaying games and their ilk, printed in simple black and white as befits a small fan-run operation it is. As I have tremendous interest towards the hobby I've done some illustrations for various articles and here's some stuff once again. Sixwillows Bridge is a scenario for Chainmail system where a hobbit army bolstered by an Elven lord and his cohorts is facing a horde of goblin raiders and I painted some 26~ illos for cut-out paper units. All the pics have been completed from scratch to finish in a couple of hours so bit of rushing may show in the result.

Top to bottom:

The Dimwitted Warriors, not the brightest of them all and prone to bickering and general nonsense.
Grand Warlord Yugki Black-Eye, the hobgoblin leader of the tribe and all-around badass. I mean, he uses a BEAR SKULL as a helmet.
Argh Macnacca, Chief Magician and advisor. Constantly brooding and convinced that the end is nigh.
Cult of the Gimp, a bunch of goblins running around in Tom of Finland costumes and 'even the design of their maces is a bit funny'. Hmmm, I wonder...
The Ubergimp, Goblin Hero strutting around in spiked leather armour (extra tight) and prone to tittering bouts as he fights.
Goblin Porter. Somebody's got to move the luggage, dudes.
The Spoonthieves, for some reason they think that Hobbit spoons are the best thing ever.
Goblin Archers with light crossbows, I just wonder how large a percentage of them dies while training.
The Hobgoblin Elite, hard as nails and mean to boot. Rusty chain and plate with wicked attitude goes a long way.
Sneaky lil' bugger, camp followers and generally useless runts.
Lumpy, the Not-So-Bright Goblin Hero. Thick as two short planks but handy in a scrap.
Irritating and Useless Lot, the kids and the elderly, the salesmen and the peasantry.
Howlin' Ulth, Warg Rider Hero. Prowls the rear to kick any deserters in the face.
Wolf Totem, carried by a warg-riding Goblin Shaman.
